I traveled the world compliments of the U.S. Navy as a Navy wife for over 20 years, practicing my “family relocation skills”. After buying and selling many homes for my own family, I became a Realtor in South Lake Tahoe,California in 1998, to assist other families with their dream of homeownership. What a beautiful place to live! In 2003, I moved to the Reno area, which is the next best thing to living in Tahoe! We’re just an hour away from the gorgeous lake and mountains, but we don’t have to shovel snow. (Well, hardly any…) I find the Reno/Sparks area to be the ideal sized city… offering much in the way of amenities while still being able to find your way around. The climate is dry, and the seasonal changes welcomed. Reno offers diverse shopping, restaurants, higher education and a variety of careers, along with endless recreational activities.
