Reno Real Estate – Prices Moving Higher

The cost of owning Reno real estate rose again in July, returning prices to post crash highs. Reno homeowners have a lot to be happy about these days as home prices keep on rising. It took ten years but the home prices have reached the all time median sold home price set back in 2007. The Reno area has been in an extended “Sellers Market” for years as new jobs have brought in thousands of new residents to the area.  In fact, the current statistics put Reno well ahead of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada’s commissioned EPIC Report projections. Below is the latest report from the Reno/Sparks Association of Realtors, complete with graphs that illustrate the recent rise in home prices.
